Shipping
- Orders will generally be shipped within 48 business hours of receipt of order. Please note that our couriers do not pick up over the weekend so orders placed late Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will generally not ship until Monday.
- Parcels will be shipped via Ground Service using the courier of our choice based on rate shopping. Courier name will be emailed to you along with tracking information. Please note we cannot ship to a PO Box and must have a valid street address to ship your package.
- A parcel is considered oversize if it exceeds 48,000 cubic centimeters of volume. If the parcel is oversize Paris Junction will pay the basic shipping rate for a parcel up to 48,000 cubic centimeters and the customer will be charged for the balance outstanding.
- For all parcel more than 1 meter in length, an over size fee of $15.00 will be charged.
Please Note:
- Value of the product is the total invoice price of the product contained in the parcel and does not include applicable taxes or shipping costs.
- Expedited ground is not available:
- to some remote destinations
- for dangerous goods
- for extremely large packages exceeding 300cm length plus girth.
- We will contact you with actual rates if your parcel exceeds Expedited Ground specifications and does not qualify for our Free Shipping Program.
- This offer is available only in Canada.
Shipping Methods for Orders within Canada
Orders are shipped from our store front in Paris, Ontario via Canada Post which allows us to ship to every address in the country using our preferred rates.
If shipping method is not specified, we will usually ship by Canada Post Expedited Mail, insured, which is the most economical means. If you need an item more quickly, please contact us and we will provide pricing for priority or express service. Orders over $30.00 require insurance and must have tracking numbers, and are shipped as a parcel.
In Store Pick-Up Option
Orders may be picked up at our 300 Grand River Street location in Paris Ontario to avoid shipping during normal business hours at no additional cost.
Procedure for Ordering On Line for In Store Pickup
- Create your on-line order as you would any normal order
- Choose the "In Store Pickup” option
- If you are paying by credit card, your order will be picked, invoiced, payment will be taken, and you will be notified that your order is ready for pickup. You will be provided with an order number which may be requested at time of pickup.
- If you are paying by EMT, we will not process or pack your order until payment is received. Please execute payment as soon as possible after placing your order. Once payment is received your order will be picked, invoiced, and you will be notified that your order is ready for pickup. You will be provided with an order number which may be requested at time of pickup.
- Our online inventory is shared in store and as a result, there may be instances where an item sells out in store but still shows as available online. If we find that not all items on your order are available, we will contact you so that you can modify or cancel your order accordingly. Any prepayment may either remain as a credit or be refunded by the same method it was received at your discretion.
Procedure for Ordering by Phone
- Call at 519-442-5800 to order as you would any normal order
- Indicate to the customer service representative that you would like to place an order for “in Store Pickup” at our Paris Ontario location.

Returns:
Returns: Paris Junction Hobbies will accept returns on most in stock items within 30 days of purchase. Product must be new, unused and unopened in its original packaging for store credit or exchange with proof of purchase. Once an item has been used we will not accept a return for any reason including potential warranty concerns. If the returned item must be shipped, the Customer must pay any return shipping costs and ship the item with sufficient insurance in suitable packaging to protect the item(s) during shipping.
All returns must have prior written authorization from Paris Junction Hobbies. To secure returns authorization; please contact us by phone or email.
Note: Special Order items, Discontinued and Clearance/Stock, Price Reduction items cannot be returned; all sales on these products are final. Deposits towards the purchase of special order items items are non-refundable unless for some reason we are unable to procure said item.
Defective Items
Paris Junction does not accept responsibility or liability for defective products. Paris Junction Hobbies will repair or replace defective items solely at our discretion based on the product manufacturer’s guidelines and warranty. Please be aware that most electronics, engines and RC products can often only be serviced or warrantied by an authorized service center and may have to be sent away for evaluation or repair. If a warrantee issues is encountered after the item is put into service but within 30 days of purchase and the item has been subject to normal use, we will contact the manufacturer and do our best to resolve the issue on your behalf. Paris Junction Hobbies cannot replace defective items from our inventory or remove parts from in stock items to facilitate warranty replacement as the manufacturer may choose to repair your item and return it. After 30 days from the date of invoice, or in instances where the item has been misused or modified in any way other than that intended by the original manufacturer you will need to contact them directly for warranty service. In no instance does warranty cover "crash damage" including but not limited to jumps, impacts, etc.
Any electronics item that has been soldered or “powered up” cannot be returned. Please be aware that Installation of warranty parts is at the customer’s expense.
