This Bachmann Spectrum HO Scale USRA 0-6-0 is a model of the very popular steam locomotive designed as a standard light switcher by the United States Railroad Administration during World War I. The USRA 0-6-0 was one of the most successful small, tendered steam locomotives in North America. Featuring many standardized components, this plucky locomotive was suited to a variety of duties, from yard and industry switching to branchline freight work. The Bachmann USRA 0-6-0 features directional LED lighting, authentic roadname-specific detail, and a varied selection of prototypical paint schemes. Details include road-specific headlight and smokebox configurations; tender details, separately applied details including bell, piping, cab window deflectors, and grab irons; RP25 contour wheels for operation on Code 70 and larger rail and E-Z Mate(R) Mark II knuckle couplers. It performs best on 18" or larger radius curves. For extra realism, it comes equipped with a Soundtraxx Econami(TM) sound and DCC decoder for use on all DCC layouts and on DC layouts too (with limited sound functions in DC mode).
